A bus crashed Saturday while carrying a Special Olympics team from Kennewick home from a skiing trip, according to the Tri-City Herald.
38 passengers, including 17 volunteer coaches, were on board the bus when the Washington auto accident happened. A slow-moving tanker truck veered off the road, which was wet and icy, giving the bus no way to avoid the car accident.
The bus crashed into the trailer then tipped down an embankment and landed on its side. 14 Washington auto accident victims were taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.
