Teen involved in Kennewick bicycle accident

A 14-year-old avoided serious injuries after being hit by a car in a Kennewick bicycle accident, according to Tri-City Herald.

The boy was on his bike crossing the street at Canal Drive and Edison during the Kennewick auto accident. The boy only suffered a minor cut to his head.

Washington man sentence for death of Richland bicyclist

A 32-year-old Kennewick man who hit a West Richland bicyclist last May was sentenced to five year and three months in prison.

According to an article from The News Tribune, the Washington man was reportedly under the influence of a stimulant when he struck a woman from Richland who was riding her bike on a charity ride with her sister and two friends on Columbia Park Trail.

Teen boy shares recovery from Washington State bicycle accident

The Chronicle News reported a surviving story on an 18-year-old boy who suffered serious injuries in a Washington State bicycle accident in August 2004.

The boy was riding his bike with two friends on State Route 505 when he made a careless turn into the highway and into the path of an oncoming car.

The Washington State bicycle accident victim bounced off the car’s windshield and landed in a ditch. He suffered broken bones in his neck and both legs, as well as a serious head injury.

Today, the boy is a quadriplegic, uses a tracheotomy, and requires 16 hours of nursing care a day as a result of the Washington State bicycle accident.

Man on motor scooter killed in Washington car accident

A man was driving his motor scooter, lost control of it, and collided with a car causing a Washington State car accident, according to the Seattle Times.

The driver of the Honda Accord attempted to avoid hitting the man on the motor scooter but was unable to avoid hitting him.  The driver of the motor scooter involved in the Washington State car accident was taken to the hospital where he later was pronounced dead.

The driver and the passenger of the car escaped injuries from the Washington car accident.

Police determined the Washington car accident was due to slippery conditions of the road as well as the speed of the motor scooter.
